Create a modern approach to consuming Sounds True content, design & build a robust app, and build a human-powered AI at the center. And don't forget to integrate our digital library.
APPROACH
Knowing that this app had to incorporate five different offerings (streaming, live events, community, digital library, and an ai), we started broadly while also giving amble attention to each feature. By creating it all at once out of the gate we were able to see what led where and help users connect the dots quickly.

While a majority of our users prefer the mobile experience, we wanted to make sure that legacy customers still had a great experience on their desktop computers.
AN AI BUILT BY HUMANS FOR HUMANS
While the world is in a race to create AI that does everything all by itself, it was our responsibility to create a system that takes care in how it learns and what it serves to our audience. We partnered with Charisma.ai and enlisted our legacy copywriters with over 20 years in the industry to help us create a robust digital guide to spirituality and mindfulness.

There is a lot out there. So much that it can be overwhelming to even know where to start. But you're here and I'm here, and that's a great beginning to taking a journey together on your personal growth. I'm here to give recommendations, and daily practices, and point you in the direction you want to go. Now let's begin with some simple questions...
LET'S TALK ABOUT IT
We had our most senior copywriter narrow in on the voice and tone of Bodie to ensure that the interactions with the AI felt calming and inviting. We partnered with Resemble AI and an amazing voice talent to create a neutral-sounding voice that sounded like a good friend and didn't skew too masculine or feminine.
All of this, wrapped up in a collection of stars that reposition themselves based on certain points in the decision tree, or as Bodie wants to show a visual reaction. Hit a decision path? They shape to an arrow sign. Understand the answer? Thumbs up! Listening to some audio? Turntable baby.
BUT DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT
As with all apps, it's been a constant road up updates, features, enhancements, bug fixes, user testing, and incorporating feedback.
And with all apps that replace an old one, some emails and descriptive marketing to help legacy users learn the new platform and what is where.
We're driving the road of iteration and feel really good about our 4.6 / 5 rating and will keep going until we're nearly perfect. Here's the the 5 stars in the future!
